Yeah, it could be called industrial or techno metal.Sary wrote:Neon Knight wrote:Metal of quite a different style: (Theatre Of Tragedy - Universal Race)
This is listenable, danceable is it techno metal?
The Fry & Laurie sketch confuses heavy metal with heavy rock. I think this could be described as light metal:
The menacing guitar sound is still there but not as dominant as it could be.
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth that's hard as steel

^I like this song,it is very theatrical and the lead singer has a beautiful voice,I give it 7.5.
Now,I have been listening to different genre of metal music.
I think the psychedelic metal music is my favorite.
Iron Butterfly!

I've heard of IB of course, and I think I've listened to that song once before. It's kind of relaxing but I can take it or leave it. 5/10. I think most metal fans consider that to be proto-metal along with bands like Blue Cheer. It reminds me of an early Scorpions song . . .

I think Levee is one of Led Zep's best songs. I prefer the original; that jazzed-up version I'll give 6/10.

Tom Petty's death was unexpected,it is so sad. He was still writing music and performing.
I will give this song and video an 8 because reminds me of California.
I visited Southern California back in the late 1980s,it was very fun place to be back then, especially if you were young and beautiful.
Now your turn to post a song Aelwenn!

The Petty song I can take or leave. 5/10. No doubt, he was good at what he did.
This is a song I like with scenes from one of my favourite films (it was on the soundtrack). And I remember Aëlwenn saying she liked it one time, so it can do for her as well
"One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach - all the damn vampires."

Never heard this song, but it has a nice melody. 8/10
If I remember well, every song is in English. I hope it's not a problem, if I post an old Hungarian song. I'm curious about non-Hungarians opinion. I hope somebody will rate it.
Its title means "One piece of my heart".

A song not in English?! No, seriously, it's okay I like Rammstein songs and they are mostly in German. I'll listen to both those last two songs tonight.
