Kraftwerk fan, eh? ;-D
How about some Depeche Mode or ELO? :-D
'The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piercing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. I'm not a fan of those kinds of moody synth bands but I find it quite listenable and I think it's one of the better forms of popular music.de Burgh wrote:Neon Knight wrote:That tune has been in my head since I saw your post of it I was sure there had been a version with English lyrics, and, yes . . .magyar_lány wrote:Kraftwerk - Das Modell 1978

Quite a dramatic song to begin with, but German neoclassical/power metal band At Vance make it even more so:
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies, life's a never ending wheel - R.J.Dio

^ That is a good one! I always liked that song. I think that I prefer the original version, so funny to see how dated it looks......the funky fashion and hair styles!
I can't decide which version of this song I like better. Ozzy adds a little somethin to the song but I like the original video it is very entertaining!

^ I def. prefer the Coal Chamber / Ozzy version. The original is too synthey for my taste.

The other night I came across this very good version of House of the Rising Sun, a classic folk song made famous by The Animals in 1964:
