Bananarama does an over the top music video and excellent cover of Shoking Blue’s Venus.

The Original is very good, but I ❤ the 80’s!

^ First time I've heard the original. I prefer it slightly. This song is from 1966, an American band. The cover is by German metal singer Doro from 1990:

Oops. I just checked and I'd already done that song on Page 1. So here's another - Strutter, by Kiss then The Donnas:

I know, I have posted so many songs, it is easy to remember my favorites.
It is quite the play list!
Lol... I always thought they were saying “I had too much to drink last night “
It is a great song!

I have been listening to a little bit more of country music, trying to acquire a taste.
God bless America.
My girlfriends like the wholesomeness and positive vibe of country music  , they hate metal music, I have no choice.... out voted, again.

Two versions of Shambala, I always thought Three Dog Night was the original.

I heard Helter Skelter a few days ago and I can’t get the song out of my head.
I am not a huge Motley Crue fan but, they do a very good cover.

There was a Japanese band call Vow Wow which covered that song (the bass player is Neil Murray, a Scot who has worked with Whitesnake and others):

Wikipedia: The Arrows were an English American band based in London, England. The group, which formed in 1974 and disbanded in 1977, included American singer/bassist Alan Merrill, American guitarist Jake Hooker and English drummer Paul Varley . . . They had UK chart hit singles in 1974 and 1975 with "Touch Too Much", "My Last Night With You" and "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", all produced by Mickie Most on RAK Records.
