Re: Now listening to . . .
^ that is a nice song for autumn and the change of season, so pretty ... it makes me feel sleepy.
Lol and yes the laughing policeman song makes me laugh
My favorite song by the Kinks.
And another song from the Romantics, that I heard today on the radio today, with a similar style.

Re: Now listening to . . .
That last one is the kind of basic feel-good rock song that I often just need to listen to. It reminded me of this which I've been meaning to post:
Judas Priest with a cool song and quirky video:

I never knew this old song was by Rainbow, till yesterday. I can remember watching this video on MTV!
The 80s had some great music and the videos are so funny. Everything looks so dated now! I can watch for hours.
Patty Smyth had a few good hits, but never made it to super rock star.

Re: Now listening to . . .
The videos quite often don't bear much relevance to the songs, as if the director hadn't bothered to read the lyrics. My favourite Bon Jovi song, for example:Sary wrote:The 80s had some great music and the videos are so funny. Everything looks so dated now! I can watch for hours.
An all-girl band I knew about but hadn't listened to much. They're good:

Pirate metal
This reminds me of a burlesque show that I once saw aboard an old pirate ship, Gazela.
It was a cabaret red light theater staring Annie A -Bomb and the Blazing Cherries.
Very racy!

I have always enjoyed southern rock in small measure. It is not for everybody.

I like the Nantucket song ^ It reminds me of the Georgia Satellites. Two songs for Halloween: first, one by Helloween which is callled, oddly enough, Halloween, and then one from Alice Cooper . . .

^ Both good songs. I mentioned the Georgia Satellites, so here they are:
Original music, and the lyrics are in Latin!

Battleship Chains is a fun song. I like the whooping at the end of the song, very uplifting! I added it to my library.
The second song kind of reminds me of the Stray Cats, in a weird way.
NK...I know how you do not like to rush the holiday season, so I hope that it does not bother you to drawing out Halloween just a little bit longer
This song always gives me the chills down my spine!
I was listening to it driving home the other night, with the full moon rising!

Re: Now listening to . . .
Yeah, Halloween doesn't last long enough to play all the good, spooky songs. One with a similar title, about a monster coming to town . . .
And this one's about having a fortune told:
