Re: Now listening to . . .
Wow, I would have never guessed that Fluff is Black Sabbath song. They really do have a wide variety of music....very nice, I like that.
The Fx track is weird, it sounds like some kind of alien Morris code, I am a little surprised that it was ever released......but then again,it was the 1970s!
I like this song, again not typical BS, but trippy ethereal music.
And another instrumental song from that same era, theme from the scariest movie ever!

Re: Now listening to . . .
Tubular Bells sounds more appropiate for a spy thriller than a horror film. Black Sabbath did a sequel to Planet Caravan on their reunion album in 2013:

Re: Now listening to . . .
That looks like it was a great concert and how young and cute Ozzy was!
It kinda of makes me uncomfortable/sad, not sure what the word is, to see the old rock gods, led Zeppelin, stones, Aerosmith ect., still touring.
I believe that it would be better to remember them when they were in their prime. I guess they must really love what they are doing, and healthy enough to do it. It is hard to compare.
Anyway.....
I was listening to this song today, it reminds me of when I was a teenager and keg parties down by the river. Good times!
Lol at the audience so well behaved!
I would like to go back to that time, if only for a day.
And another great song by Journey!

Re: Now listening to . . .
Coincidentally, when I saw that post of Journey songs yesterday morning, there was a member of the band being interviewed on breakfast TV. Wheel ITS is a classic.

Re: Now listening to . . .
There have been many coincidences on my end as well NK
I see that it was Lita Fords birthday this past Wednesday. She has a very unique voice, husky and sultry.
That is a beautiful song.
Two more songs/music videos by fluffy haired blondes, American sweethearts
Stevie Nicks and Dolly Parton.
I don't usually care for country music, but Dolly has something special about her. She always makes me smile.
I like her version of Heaven Let Your Light Shine Down, maybe it is the banjo?
Fleetwood Mac is legendary.

Re: Now listening to . . .
Do you like Emmylou Harris? She's also a country singer along the same vein, but she sings more melancholy tunes.
She's the one in the middle. I think she claims some Native American but probably doesn't have any lol.
That's some of her earlier stuff. She's still up and kicking.

Re: Now listening to . . .
Emmylou and Linda are both great singers. To me, Dolly stands out.
Not sure if I think of it as country, maybe more like folk music?
I don't like to listen to music that is too melancholy, as I am prone to depression.
Or too mellow because it makes me sleepy.
Mostly Rock, but sometimes ,if I am in a mood.
Melanie has a quirky voice, she was part of the folk music scene
A silly cute song, a hit in the early 70s.
And another duet about closing your eyes, beautiful but sad. I cry every time I listen to it

Re: Now listening to . . .
A couple of old songs from two bands that are considered progressive/art rock artists.
Both bands have many excellent songs...some were hits, most all of their songs I like.
Nice mellow music.
A Supertramp song, with a cute modern video
And a song from a band that I have always liked, Alan Parsons Project, timeless
Not as well known as some of their more popular songs.

Re: Now listening to . . .
I've been catching up with the last few songs posted here. I like the one by Melanie the most. A quirky one from Alice Cooper:

Re: Now listening to . . .
Witchy woman won't play in this country due to copyright. It is a great song ,it is still popular on the radio.
Never heard the anthrax Indians before .....very heavy metal, good one!
I can think of quite a few witch songs.
I am running out of songs with an Indian theme.....one does come to mind, a classic from Cher.
She was something, she's got the Indian thing down!
