Awesome stuff. I've seen all the Monty Python movies and tv show sketches.

There would be no Monty Python if the political and social climate were the same then than it is now.

Especially a sketch like the one below. There are no Belgian members at present so I think we're okayOsricPearl wrote:There would be no Monty Python if the political and social climate were the same then than it is now.
Hungarian subtitles too!

"strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."
Holy Grail is my favourite Python film. Life of Brian gets more attention but I like HG for its wild silliness.

Good choice Magyar_lány
With the Python members there was a 'continuum' of comedy style from the more conventional at one end (John Cleese & Eric Idle) to the more absurd at the other end (Terry Jones & Terry Gilliam, the American cartoonist) with Graham Chapman & Michael Palin in the middle. But even the more conventional sketches were still pretty silly:
And with Spanish subtitles in case the two regular Spanish members of the forum are interested:

Re: Monty Python Scenes & Sketches
Nobody expects! Is probably my favorite one, besides the one about Hilter and the song about the Lumberjack.
We've started showing the kids some of the more family friendly skits and shorts, and bits from movies. My daughter loves the scene in the Holy Grail where they go to the French castle and the French throw them a cow.
