Re: Now listening to . . .
^ I love that metal version of Carol of the Bells (discovered it years ago). I'm pretty neutral about Christmas these days, but I still like it in theory, and the magic never quite disappears. So, Merry Christmas, lords and ladies!
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies, life's a never ending wheel - R.J.Dio
Re: Now listening to . . .
I had a feeling that you would love that version of Carol of the Bells
The melody was stuck in my head and when I searched for it on YouTube, I discovered the Metal version. It is a beautiful song, no matter what genre it is performed in.
I think that I enjoy the day after Christmas better than Christmas itself. I wish that the USA recognized Boxing Day. A day off to do what ever you want, no cooking, no cleaning, watch a movie, eat left overs...maybe even take a nap!
Two classic Christmas songs that have becoming controversial because of the lyrics. We should probably listen to them now, someday they may not be available.

Re: Now listening to . . .
I have been having a difficult time trying to find a good song to post, expressing the opposite feeling of deja vu.
The unsettling feeling of Jamais vu, being oblivious to person, place or time.
Awake, but not aware.
Not knowing who you are.
One classic that came to mind.....

Me, coming to terms with my French ancestry. At first I'm like, "NON" and I slap it down (1:07).
But then I think, well, maybe it's not so bad?

I am feeling my 7.9 %, Spanish and Portuguese!
I would have never thought, it possible, but 23 and me don't lie.
it is quite a revelation!
This is from my dads side, my Spanish heritage

Re: Now listening to . . .
That's a very nice version of the Dio music, Sary. Magnum are a semi-legendary English rock/metal band and this is an acoustic version of their song The Spirit:

Wikipedia: Man With the Golden Gun was written with the intention of having it appear on the soundtrack of the then-upcoming James Bond film of the same name. Cooper recalled in a 2011 interview: 'It was supposed to be the Bond theme, but it actually came in a day too late, and by the time they heard it, they'd already signed for Lulu's song. I went, "You're gonna take Lulu over this?"'
