Re: Now listening to . . .
Haha OP, good one both Indian and instrumental!
I always thought that Cher really is a half breed, she plays the part much better than Elizabeth. I wonder what the Cherokee think about her?
I can't resist, I thought of another fake Indian song. This time singing about the great white buffalo !
His headress maybe fancier than Chers.
And another witchy one

Re: Now listening to . . .
Good song/video choices, girls. I'm surprised how heavy The Sonics sounded and I can see why they are considered an influence on punk. A more serious Indian song from New York band Manowar:
And my witch song is . . .
And my witch song is . . .
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies, life's a never ending wheel - R.J.Dio
Re: Now listening to . . .
I like the witch song by Coven. They had a big hit in the 1970s with One Tin Soldier, from the movie The Legend of Billy Jack. I was thinking that The White Witch of Rose Hall was a benevolent being, an English good witch, not.
I googled her...yikes, now that is quite a legend!

I found an excellent European Indian song! Lol even European people channel the Native Americans!
And a witch song by a German band, The Rattles.
Creepy Lady!

Re: Now listening to . . .
Europe have some really good songs. I like the simple production of the sound on early 70s rock music - you can almost feel the instruments. I also have witch song by a German band! Warlock, here playing in London:

Re: Now listening to . . .
Coven again, with an appropiate song for Halloween called Black Sabbath!:
And now . . . Black Sabbath! An eerie instrumental from the second album with Dio:

OMG ... There is no way to top the Coven video ! The nuns in the video take it over the top : Great song by BS
Double winner!
Ok, I have a very creepy video.
I was not not going to post it, but since it is almost Halloween, what the heck!
There is some very disturbing videos, when you search witch.
I am not sure what it is, art or real?
Europeans are so pagan!
And back to a more simpler, America 1960s time.
Frank Sinatra!

Ronan: We need a vid for this new song we have. Nothing too expensive...
Director: We'll just film you walking around Tokyo in black and white.
Ronan: Awesome.

Re: Now listening to . . .
I've got a list I made once of Halloween appropiate songs to choose from, but I'll limit myself to three:
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies, life's a never ending wheel - R.J.Dio
Re: Now listening to . . .
Very nice, a Halloween medley!
I like the Alice Cooper.
Skeletons remind me of this song.
Now, tomorrow night I a leaving for Texas for a long weekend....yippee ki-yay! Vacation
Listening to some music from ZZTop, Texas born and bred!

Re: Now listening to . . .
I was poking around a record store today, listening to different bands and discovered my new favorite...Greta Van Fleet
Although a very young band, they appeal to older generations because their music sounds very retro 1970 Rock and roll. The lead singer is often compared to Robert Plant.
Cool video too

Re: Now listening to . . .
Yeah, the singer sounds a lot like Plant. But he should grow his hair long and get a proper pair of trousers

A couple of instrumentals for autumn:

Re: Now listening to . . .
Sary says sad music makes her feel down but I generally find the opposite - that it's cathartic . . .
Although even I find this Dio song slightly harrowing:
