Beautiful Feminine Art
Post beautiful non-postmodern*, western, art with feminine themes. (Art created by Europeans and related people). It can be a modern painting in a classic, pre-modern style.
Sandra Kuck - A precious mother and child
* no photography. tasteful modern art is OK but no postmodern stuff. NO cubism or extreme abstract art.

Re: Beautiful Feminine Art
^ That's very realistic.
I don't know much about the art world but I had the name Pre-Raphaelite in my mind and a search immediately turned up many fine paintings that fit the feminine theme. Here are three to be going on with:
Windflowers - John William Waterhouse
Lady Godiva - John Collier
The Last Sleep of Arthur in Avalon - Edward Burne-Jones

"Women reading a letter on a couch” By Vittorio Reggianini
I really like how the dresses look. They look real! It looks almost like a picture.

I can't see the second one. But that first picture is quite lovely. Waterhouse was a very good artist.

It's annoying when that happens but I got around it, so now you can see I thought you'd like the first one.OsricPearl wrote:I can't see the second one. But that first picture is quite lovely. Waterhouse was a very good artist.

those are very romantic. I like the one with the swans the best. I admire people who can draw/illustrate. It's a skill that I never quite developed, even though I did practice at it when I was younger. The best I got was cartoon style drawing, which has a niche, but it wasn't what I was looking for, obviously.
Listening to Chopin - Vladmir Volegov
I've noticed there are alot of good modern (as in current) who have rejected post modernism.
