Using Thee, Thy, Thou & Ye
Using Thee, Thy, Thou & Ye
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-thee-thy-thou-and-ye Top answer (slightly edited):
These are all different archaic forms of the word 'you'. Their application differs based on context, as shown in the table below:

THOU is used when talking to a person who is the SUBJECT of the verb, e.g. "Thou art true and faithful."
THEE is used when talking to a person who is the OBJECT of the verb, e.g. "I beseech thee, merciful Lord."
THY is used when talking to one person. The word after 'thy' should begin with a consonant sound, e.g. "Honour thy word, son."
THINE is used when talking to one person. The word after 'thine' should begin with a vowel sound e.g. "Honour thine ancestors, son."
YE is used when talking to multiple people e.g. "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may."

Re: Using Thee, Thy, Thou & Ye
I'm actually sad we stopped using some of these. I like ye because it gives the "you" a proper plural form. I never liked "you all." Worse still is "you guys." ugh.

Re: Using Thee, Thy, Thou & Ye
^ you mean Ya'll, with a southern accent.
My sister lives in NC and my nieces all speak with that southern drawl. It sounds charming to me, I like it.
Up here we say Youz guyz.
I am going to throw a couple of Ye and thine into my vocabulary and see what kind of reaction I get. People will really think that I have flipped my lid!

I'd be interested in the results of that little social experiment
