I heard this song today and vaguely remembered the mtv video. I just had to google it when I got home. I like the clips of the London scenery.
The creeper guy reminds me of Randy Newman....too funny!

Rainbow In The Dark is a sparkling melodic metal song but that video is really not worthy of it! Dio himself looks cool but I don't know what the rest is supposed to be about. It looks like the director made it up as he went along.

Well the Rainbow in the Dark official video got 7.2k thumbs up on YouTube. It is campy I admit but , I like it....sparkling melodic metal.
The video you posted is not available in my country.
I am thinking it is this one, the original.
