What is your religion or phylosophical moral code?
Hello,
Today I am asking myself about religion. No religion please me.
But i wonder what is yours?

I am agnostic about God, but I think there is a fairly good chance of life after death.
None of the classic religions convince me very much. Buddhism seems the most sophisticated, but still a bit strange.
I think we can have spiritual beliefs without belonging to any particular religion.

I was baptized Roman Catholic. It is something that will always be a part of me.
Going to church and attending mass gives me a sense of hope.
To me, spirituality without religion is shallow with little substance.
Here is fun test.

I took a similar test years ago and got the same results..... Quaker

I dislike christianity for their political agenda.
I feel having a religion might help me and guide me. I'am taking a look at pagans faith. Who can suit me in many way.

I used to be interested in neo-paganism. I read a few books about it.Jehan I wrote:I dislike christianity for their political agenda.

I got 100% Orthodox Quaker, 63% Liberal Quaker.
Quakers are comparable to the Jews, in the respect that different personal beliefs are acceptable, what is more important are the principles that unite one another. There are agnostic and atheist Quakers, probably even some pagan Quakers too.

I always have a container of Quaker Oats on hand. It is good for making cookies or for a simple wholesome breakfast.....porridge as you call it. I wonder who that old fashioned Quaker Oat man is supposed to be?
He could be George Fox or perhaps William Penn.
The Quakers are still around, there are many meeting houses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. They seem to stay to themselves and marry within their own circle. I would like to visit a meeting house someday. They are very welcoming people, The Religious Society of Friends.
The Quakers have a very simple but attractive symbol, an eight pointed red and black star.
It reminds me of a compass.

^ The Quaker Star is indeed a very cool symbol and one that I have come to identify with.
I once read that my Mt dna H1e, is associated with the Hutterites, a religious group who broke from the Catholic Church during the reformation. Like The Quakers they immigrated from Europe for religious freedom and settled in New York and Pennsylvania area, simple people, who were pacifist at heart and mostly kept to themselves.
Thank you for the information
