Your scores:

Authority 47%
Purity 69%

Your strongest moral foundation is Fairness.

Your morality is closest to that of a Left-Liberal.

^ I think that's a fairly close call actually. Your relatively high purity score would put you at odds with most liberals.

^ Those results are quite like mine, Sary, and look solidly conservative (with a libertarian leaning). Do you feel they are a good reflection of your morality?

When I did the self assessment of the five core values of compassion, fairness, loyalty, sanctity and authority I ranked them very close to how I tested.
Liberty was not included, but if it was, I would rank it highly, along with compassion/caring and sanctity.
My top three morals came out exactly the same, at 83%.
I guess that is why the test could not place me and instead said, I have no one strongest moral foundation. I like that, not being put into a box.

It is a good test.

I think results from this test can be put into eight categories:

1. Strong Conservative, 2. Moderate Conservative
3. Strong Liberal, 4. Moderate Liberal
5. Strong Libertarian, 6. Moderate Libertarian
7. Mixed Morality
8. Amoral - scoring a third or less (<=33%) on each trait. I probably would not want to meet such a person!

I score very high in care and purity. This doesn't surprise me.

^ You'd make a very good head nurse Smile 1

Generally speaking, I think a high purity trait is really what separates those concerned about preserving cultural/ethnic identity from the civic nationalists.

Actually, I would make a horrible nurse because I find bodily fluids too disgusting. I am surprised at how high my care and purity tests were compared to others. It was perfectly obvious to me that disgusting things were not good to an extreme. Who are these people that are OK with poop shaped chocolate cakes? Suspect

Yeah, that's a point. Someone who was very hygienically minded could find certain jobs too disgusting to tackle. Paradoxical.

Social conservatives experience taste more intensely than liberals and have more taste buds on their tongues:
http://citation.allacademic.com/meta/p_mla_apa_research_citation/1/2/5/5/6/p1255646_index.html

Of course, we could just as easily say that liberals have fewer tastebuds and a milder taste experiences. Presumably, about 60% of the population are inbetween for these things.

Scent and taste are connected to each other, so it makes sense that those who have more taste buds would have greater disgust aversion.
