Another romance....sigh
Do you think that Jessica Lange accent sounds authentic?
Jabberwocky looks very funny, Monty Python like.
I only saw the first Superman, with Christopher Reeve. It is a good one.
Superman 1 and 2 were good. 3 was bad. 4 was so bad it's good. They should make a rifftrak of it.
Rob Roy is one of my favorites. I didn't think of it as a romance but as an action historical drama. I liked the duel between Rob and Tim Roth's character. But then again, that's what I focused on.
"Quarter?"
"None asked."
"None given!"

She's speaking in a southern Irish accent Neeson's accent is okay.

Me and my friend saw this film on TV as kids and it inspired us to do something silly:
An arty Vampire film:

Two films about time travel:
This one has H.G. Wells himself chasing Jack the Ripper through time - great idea!

The time machine is a very scary movie.
I am not sure how old I was, or why my parents let me watch it, but I remember having nightmares of white gorillas.
Now I see that they are Morlocks!
On the lighter side , woody Allen is always good for a laugh.
I like the slap stick comedy, Diane Keaton is very funny too!

I actually like this French movie a lot. I don't like French movies too much, I rarely "get them."

Another movie about time travel, one that I had forgotten all about.
I would like to watch this one again, it is a good one!

Two scifi horror movies about creepy crawly insects
I really like the animal theme.
I thought that the The Fly was very good, with Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis.
And another old one that I would not mind watching some time.

I don't think I want to watch The Fly. A classic from the early 1960s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whistle_Down_the_Wind_(film)
And Roger Moore (later James Bond) in one of my favourites:

Re: Old Film Trailers (to 2009)
I watched this movie yesterday. It is a historic drama set at the turn of the last century.
Daniel Day-Lewis plays the sinister Texas oil tycoon very well, although I prefer him in good guy role.
A sad but worth watching film.

Re: Old Film Trailers (to 2009)
I haven’t seen either of those films, Somewhere in Time looks good. I like Christopher Reeve.
I have 2 more films, both are romantic fantasies.
I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button when it first came out in theaters. I am not sure if it counts as a time travel movie. The way that the main character ages in reverse gives new meaning to super old people experiencing a second childhood that goes along with bodily decline.
This next gem, I found yesterday, on cable tv. I really love old movies!
It is a beautiful, charming film suitable for the whole family.
David Niven is a very good leading man.

Re: Old Film Trailers (to 2009)
I think I would like both those films. I've imagined what it would be like if people got old then started getting younger again, then back and forth continuously. Two films with Charlie Sheen:

Re: Old Film Trailers (to 2009)
I saw Young Guns a long time ago and liked it. I have always been a fan of westerners.
Talking about gods reminds me of the old Clash of the Titans movie. Everyone thought that it was such a cool movie when it first came out.
Release the Kraken!
